“The Regina Viarum “as in ancient times it was called, it was born from the need of conquest that belonged to the Romans, and soon became one of the most important roads of ancient Rome. The visit will start from the catacombs of San Sebastiano where a guide will take you further below showing you the area. The oldest catacombs of Rome was a burial area that developed on 4 underground levels, where frescoes, stucco and inscriptions are preserved, the visit will continue along the Appian way until the Villa of Massenzio and the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella.
