The tour of Colosseum, Forum, museum and Trajan's Market will start with the visit to the Coliseum or Flavian Amphitheater, we will visit the inside where you will learn the world of gladiators and the days of the audience, so you'll have the chance to wander around and look down on the arena from the highest point and see the various rooms where gladiators and wild beasts were waiting before the fights. The tour will continue to the Imperial Forum trying to recall the role of the Forum in the life of the Romans but also the figure of Julius Caesar that to realize his Forum he had to expropriate and demolish an entire neighborhood and the overall cost was 100 million gold coins, the equivalent of at least 300 million euro, next to his Forum the new headquarters of the Roman Senate were built, the Curia a building that still exists. In those years, while the power of Rome grew dramatically, the Senate was greatly weakened and it was in this situation of internal crisis that Caesar was able to obtain exceptional powers and perpetual. With Augustus Rome inaugurated a new period in its history the imperial age and, in the space of a century, it brought Rome to rule over an empire that extended from the current England to the borders of modern Iraq, including most of Europe, the Middle East and throughout North Africa, the forum of Augustus is the ultimate expression of this. We will continue with the Forum of peace, the forum of Nerva, we will enter in the museum and Trajan's Forum and "Trajan's Market" which form an articulated architectural complex in a building technique called opus latericium (Roman concrete covered with a brick facing), which uses all the available space, retrieved from cutting the slopes in the hillside which Trajan's column reminds us of the true dimension.
