The visit will start from the gardens of the villa, many important families in ancient Rome had mansions and gardens (Horti), in fact here arose The Horti of Locullo, abandoned over the centuries with the rise to the papacy of Paul V Borghese in 1605 the cardinal nephew of Scipione Borghese, great connoisseur of art decided to build his villa of delights, buying works of art and making them accessible to all embellishing the gardens with statues and water features to amaze the contemporaries.
