Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximum, Foro Boario, Marcello Theater
Flavian Amphitheatre or the Coliseum was an exceptional work ordered by Emperor Vespasian, immediately after the death of Nero, its construction was born in fact, on the grounds of the Domus Aurea, or the famous residence of 80 hectares of Nero opened in '80 AD by the Emperor Tito and soon became the wonder of the city. Inside bloody battles were held between gladiators, hunting animal shows and naval battles, performances were applauded and acclaimed by some 80,000 spectators, all this until the conversion of Rome to Christianity, that changed the fate of the Coliseum. The Arch of Constantine remembers this passage from the pagan city to Christian city, however, it also commemorated a historic victory. The visit will continue towards the Circus Maximus Martius, dedicated to horse racing, located in Rome. Nestled in the valley between the Palatine and Aventine, it is remembered as the site of games since the beginning of the history of the city, the visit will end in the valley of the temples Temple of Hercules Winner and the Temple of Portunus in the heart of Boario Forum, the ancient market spices and the Mouth of the Truth.
