The tour of Tour Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine will start from one of the seven hills of Rome, the Palatine Hill, where legend has it that the city was born in 753 BC and its founder, Romulus chose this divinely hill. The Palatine soon became the place of residence of all the emperors. Entering inside the Palatine we'll see where the Romans citizens lived, Insule, we will continue passing through Nero's aqueduct up to the Stadium and the Palace of Domitian or Domus Augustana with the emperor's private view overlooking the Circus Maximus. We will visit the Antiquarian of the Palatine which houses the remains of the house of Augustus statues and precious marbles coming from the villas of emperors.
The tour will continue passing by the house of Augustus, and coming to the Palatine Archaic where we will see the remains of the huts of Romulus and ancient temples. We cross the “Criptoportico Neroniano” to get to the Roman Forum, the central heart of the life of the Roman city, home to many temples and the place where they carried out the gladiators tournaments. We will pass in front of the so-called Temple of Romulus to the temple of Antoninus and Faustina the home of the King and the Vestal Virgins, the Temple of Julius Caesar, the Golden Milestone, and the Arch of Titus exiting we will visit the Coliseum, built in the I D.C. known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, that was the scene of the killing of slaves and animals but above all a place of fighting, we'll show you where the gladiators lived, and role of the Roman Army and where and how these fights took place.
