Vatican Museums Tour

The visit will begin at the Vatican Museums, a trip inside the Vatican to discover the fascinating aspects and lesser-known Papal universe...sculptures of enormous value created in what was the pagan world; statues, ancient objects that have adorned villas of emperors and temples.  The Vatican museums are not a container of works of art but rather something more special. Buildings that were built of the years with inside rooms that were frescoed for Popes in which we can find works of art found in Rome and Lazio and placed in these rooms to precisely beautify them.  The Architect Bramante connects this first nucleus of the villa belvedere with the Vatican palaces thanks to the two wings and also at that point created a Huge courtyard, which is the famous courtyard of the Belvedere, all surrounded by walls.

The visit will continue through places like the Gallery of Candle Sticks, Tapestry Gallery, geographical maps Gallery, the apartment of Saint Pious V reaching Michelangelo's masterpiece The Sistine chapel dedicated to the Assumption into Heaven.

Thanks to this tour you will have the chance to admire the spectacular St. Peter's Dome on a terrace reserved in principle to the Pope. The Dome of St. Peter is one of the Largest ever built in masonry shell, it has an internal diameter of about 42 meters, and it is an expression of the passage of the roman renaissance to baroque, designed by Michelangelo Buonarroti from end of 1546 was finished by different artists in vogue in 500.
