The tour part of the ancient Appian way and Regional Park, it is bordered by Via Capannelle, Via Appia Nuova and via Lemonia, The area is characterized by numerous archaeological remains; six of the eleven great aqueducts built by the Romans, and a Renaissance, and other buildings from Roman times and later, including the villa called the Vignacce is one of the largest suburban villas of this area; dated between the second and fourth centuries AD, it was probably built by Q. Servilius Pudente, wealthy producer of bricks in the time of Hadrian (117-138 AD), as some seem to show on the"brick stamps" and lead pipes (fistulae) bearing his name, found in the excavations. The preserved remains of the villa refer to a large spa complex and a cistern with two floors, fed by the nearby Marcio Aqueduct, in the heart of the park is also the Tomb of the hundred steps, a tank with a turret, the Marian ditch water, the Casale of Roma Vecchia, railway station with the route Rome-Frascati, built by Pius IX.
