At the center of the square is the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, which dates from the early Baroque, sculpted by Pietro Bernini and his son, the famous Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The tour will then continue towards another of the most famous squares, Popolo Square with the ancient basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo, at the side of the door, the basilica was erected in fact (on the sepulcher of the Domizi where Nero was buried), rich in works of' art, it was once the church where the pilgrims were welcomed coming from the Flaminius door.
